"BEING SOMEONE FOR YOURSELF AND NOT FOR OTHERS" - this is the message imprinted in the name of the band.

The genre of B.O.N.O. winks at 90s Nu metal. The sound is reflected both in the performance and in the musicians' stage make-up. Everything is blended with Hardcore and Groove metal influences, while break-beat electronic bases are skillfully woven into each song. Some moments of the concert are transformed into a real dialogue with the audience, which is integrated into the execution of the songs, transforming everything into a real live show.

In 2016, the first full album, "Just Slaves of Abuse" was presented, which received excellent feedback from the public and from the most famous Italian and non-Italian magazines.

At the beginning of 2019, the group decided to put themselves on the line, participating in the Metal Battle Italy, a competition to perform at the prestigious Wacken Open Air festival. The band triumphs, earning access to the final stage representing Italy in Germany.

After the W.O.A. the pandemic arrives and the band takes the opportunity not to stop but, on the contrary, to produce and record a new album full of evil. This break has generated new food for thought, leading the group to rework the songs, refining the structure of the songs, the lyrics and the sound.

In the meantime, the band, in addition to perfecting the latest album, has continued to perform, riding important stages and supporting other internationally renowned artists. Among these we mention Spasm at the Tower Music Meeting, Brujeria at Alchemica, Silenzer in Austria and Genus Ordinis Dei at the “Metal Invasion”.

On April 11, 2025, the new album entitled IODIO 131 is released, The latter takes no prisoners! Each piece is carefully crafted and with the pure intent of devastating anyone. 8 songs full of anger, passion, love, sacrifice and freedom. After the release, B.O.N.O will bring their new sound wherever they go.
